Choosing the Right Paddle Core
The core of your Pickleball Paddle is one of the most important factors to understand.
Here are some common types of core that you might hear about:
Most Pickleball paddles are made using polypropylene, also called Polymer or PP. Most high-quality paddles use polymer cores, while aluminum cores are generally found in lower-end paddles. Overall, polymer cores deliver the best combination of durability, control and feel.
Aluminum
Aluminum cores are use rarely. Since aluminum is so light, it was good for cutting weight. But they lacked power, loud, and the core would get dented. You really can't find many paddles that uses aluminum core today.
